Honda Accord Hybrid launched at Rs 37 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi

Honda Cars India has launched the next-generation Accord Hybrid in India at Rs 37 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Honda had stopped the production of the Accord in 2013, due to low sales volume. Earlier, the luxury sedan was available only with a 2.4 litre four-cylinder and a 3.0 litre V6 engine.

Motorola slashes Moto G (3rd gen) prices; now available at Rs 9,999 onwards











New Delhi: Motorola has slashed the prices of its Moto G (3rd gen) and Moto G Turbo smartphones by Rs 2,000.
The 8 GB variant with 1 GB RAM of the third-gen Moto G now costs Rs 9,999 while the 2 GB RAM variant with 16 GB storage is available at Rs 10,999. The Moto G Turbo smartphone, on the other hand, is now available at Rs 12,499.
The Moto G (3rd gen)features a 5-inch HD scratch-resistant display with 294ppi that spans edge to edge. Under its hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 1.4 GHz quad-core GPU. It is 4G LTE compatible and powered by Android Lollipop 5.1. The further includes 13 megapixel rear camera coupled with a 5 megapixel front snapper that offers 72-degree field of view.
The Moto G Turbo smartphone includes a TurboPower charger, which gives users up to 6 hours of power in 15 minutes of charging. Under its hood is a a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor with 2 GB of RAM. There's IP67 rated protection to keep your phone safe from water and dust.
Motorola is further offering discounts of up to Rs 4,000 on Moto G (3rd Gen) and upto Rs 5,000 on Moto G Turbo Edition.
Other specifications include 5-inch 720p display, Android Lollipop 5.1.1, microSD card support of up to 32 GB, dual micro-SIM, 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera.

Tata Motors shows how Zica appeals to 7 senses






Tata Motors is holding a ‘7-Senses’ experience campaign for their newest offering, the Tata Zica. It is designed to give a complete experience of the car, making all the senses work together to create a complete understanding of the vehicle.
According to Mr. Mayank Pareek, President, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors, “With the #madeofgreat campaign we have charted a new course in our brand building and transformation journey. We continue to roll out compelling campaigns with an aim to bring our consumers closer to the brand. We are gearing up for the Zica launch and as a build-up to the launch, it is imperative we provide our customers an immersive experience of the car and further help build a brand recall. Through the Zica 7-Senses campaign, we will not only ensure that our customers experience the car but will also cherish the experience.”
The potential customers can cover all the 7-senses of Sight, Smell, Sound, Taste, Touch, Intuition and Equilibrium with the car.
Sight: This involves a 3D virtual test drive app, through which the Zica’s bold design can be seen.
Smell: Tata claims it  their Zica signature fragrance will connect with the youth as well as anyone who is young at heart.
Sound: Tata will showcase their Harman-developed eight speaker system with aux-in, Bluetooth connectivity and USB . The Zica also has a speed dependent volume control function on the same. Tata Motors will introduce a Zica anthem, a soundtrack that will display the quality of the infotainment system.
Taste: Here they will introduce ‘The Zica Chocolate’. 
Touch: The touch ConnectNext infotainment system which introduces segment-first applications like the Smart NAVI and the Juke-Car app. The Navi app displays TBT (Turn By Turn) navigation when connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth. The system will also feature bluetooth pairing, along with speed volume control, steering wheel mounted information controls for the phonebook. The Juke-Car application utilises mobile hotspot to create a virtual network and host a service for sharing a list of available songs in the device. All connected devices can view the song list on the hotspot device. Users can place their requested song queuing. The Juke-Car app then plays the songs one after the other. 

Mahindra KUV100 Launch Tomorrow








Mahindra is all set to launch their new compact SUV styled car, KUV100, tomorrow. This SUV will enter the booming segment of compact crossover SUVs in India. The front styling, especially the elongated headlights and front grille, seems heavily inspired from their flagship model, the XUV500.
The length of this SUV will be less than four metres but it will be wider than any other car in the segment of crossover hatchbacks. The interiors will have some of best quality materials seen in any Mahindra car till date. Expect the prices to start from around INR 5-5.50 lakhs (ex-showroom). There will be the newly developed 1.2 L, 3 cylinder petrol (82 bhp) and diesel (77 bhp) engines equipped with a five speed manual gearbox.

The feature list will have all modern premium features such as LED daytime running lamps, touchscreen audio system, steering mounted controls, bluetooth support, dual front airbags and more. But, its biggest USP will be its six-seater arrangement as it will have a front bench which can easily accommodate three adults; making it the only six-seater car in India.
